SciSports and National Academy Championships announce video, data, and performance partnership
Frisco, Texas, February 9th, 2026 - SciSports and the National Academy Championships (NAC) today announced a new partnership to deliver integrated video, data, and performance insights across upcoming NAC events, supporting elite competitive environments for participating MLS NEXT clubs in the Homegrown and Academy tiers.
The collaboration is designed to enhance feedback, player development, and performance understanding for coaches and athletes competing at the highest levels of youth soccer in the United States.
SciSports will provide coverage of the next editions of the National Academy Championships, held over two weekends at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The first weekend is scheduled for February 13–16, followed by February 20–23. Across both events, SciSports will capture and analyze matches, giving participating clubs access to synchronized video and performance data generated directly from live competition.
Through the partnership, coaches from MLS NEXT clubs will gain access to team and individual performance insights via SciSports’ analysis platform. Match data and video will be connected through intuitive tools that enable staff to review key moments, assess performance trends, and support structured development conversations in a high-performance, event-based setting. Individual player insights will complement team analysis, helping to contextualize performance within elite match environments.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to elevating youth competition through meaningful insight rather than raw footage alone. By combining video, data, and practical analysis workflows, SciSports and NAC aim to create performance-driven environments and provide clubs with a clearer understanding of match outcomes during tournament play.
Commenting on the partnership, Vincent van Renesse van Duivenbode, CEO of SciSports, said:
“The National Academy Championships provide a strong competitive platform for MLS NEXT clubs. By integrating video and data across these events, we support coaches with objective insights that fit naturally into high-performance environments and help turn tournament matches into valuable learning opportunities.”
Jeffrey Saunders, Co-Founder of the National Academy Championships, added:
“Partnering with SciSports allows us to enhance the NAC experience for MLS NEXT clubs by providing access to meaningful performance insights alongside match video. This collaboration supports the standards our participating clubs expect and adds tangible value for coaches and players competing at the highest levels in pursuit of a national title.”
